Check regularly that the brake fluid reservoir cap is not cracked. Brake fluid is very aggressive, leakage should be avoided at all costs.

The reservoir cap 3356 is made of rubber as originally and clamps into the can, while the remaining caps are screwed onto the can.

Note: The rubber cap 3356 has a very small hole for venting, pierce this if necessary so that the can cannot draw a vacuum, this would impair the braking effect.
The brake fluid cap 4252 has a loose cap that clips into the lid. If necessary, the cap can be pushed out with a thin screwdriver through the lower vent holes for additional venting from below
