Vent window support clip (Per Pair)

The hinged window frame sits in the door rebate at the front and top and rests on a horizontal reinforcement in the door at the bottom.

If the vent window frame were to rest directly on the horizontal door reinforcement, this could lead to annoying creaking noises while driving. For this reason, a plastic clip is mounted at the bottom of the frame to create the connection between the hinged window frame and the horizontal door reinforcement. Many people are unaware of the existence of this support clip. If the clip is still present and slips off the frame during disassembly, few restorers know where the clip originally came from. The hinged window is then mounted without clips and thus without any support.
